Overview: Oracle Fusion Transactional Business Intelligence is a real-time, self-service reporting solution. All Oracle HCM Cloud service application users with appropriate roles can use Oracle Fusion Transactional Business Intelligence to create analyses that support decision-making. Business users can perform current-state analysis of their business applications using a variety of tools.
Step1: First you need to Login the Fusion instance, and after login you will get below dashboard, Click on Hamburger menu which is highlighted in Red Color to see the option of ‘Reports and Analytics’

Step2: Expand the More option which is highlighted in RED color to see ‘Reports and Analytics’ option

Step3: To build new Fusion BIP Report you need to click on ‘Report and Analytics’ highlighted option

Step4: You need to click on button ‘Browse Catalog’ to browse catalog area

Step5: You can see you are on Catalog page

Step6: Click on button ‘New’ for getting the drop down list and click on ‘Data Model’ to create Data Model of BIP Report.

Step7: Once you create the Data Model than you need create a ‘Data Sets’ with your SQL Query

Step8: Click on Diagram option which is highlighted in Red color and click on option ‘SQL Query’ to build your query

Step9: Enter your query in SQL Query field and make sure if you are making report for finance module, select on ‘Data Source’ as ‘ApplicationDB_FSCM’

Step10: Once you create Data Set click on ‘Data’ tab to see your output

Step11: Click on ‘View’ button to fetch the data

Step12: As you can see data is fetched in tree format you can view it in Table format as well after clicking on ‘Table View’

Step13: After clicking on ‘Table View’ you will get data in table format

Step14: For saving the Data Model you need to click on ‘Save’ icon as shown below

Step15: After clicking on save icon it will ask you path to save the ‘Data Model’, always save in custom folder because if any patch will come than custom’s folder file won’t delete

Step16: Once you saved the data model click on ‘Catalog’ button as shown below to see your saved ‘Data Model’
